We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our latest creation at Lucky Sign Distillery! With our Honest Hillbilly line of pre-prohibition spirits, we blend tradition and innovation to create a truly unique experience.
Remaining faithful to pre-prohibition methods, we prioritize incorporating ingredients into fermentation over post-distillation flavoring to capture flavors and convey the terroir of the grains, fruits, and other produce we use. Our grains, including open-pollinated, non-GMO corn, are sourced with care from trusted Western Pennsylvania suppliers like Dancing Star Farms and CNC Malt.
In keeping with the spirit of pre-prohibition tradition, we embarked on a special project. Capitalizing on Dancing Star Farms' surplus corn, we double pot distilled it into something extraordinary and unique: the Cherokee White Eagle Corn Whiskey. This exclusive hybrid corn variety carries immense historical and cultural significance, as it was cultivated by the Cherokee people during their forced migration, known as the Trail of Tears, in 1839.
